Electro Dermal Screening is an electronic method for identifying and measuring the electrical resistance at specific acupuncture points on the body. These measurements reflect the health of the specific area being tested. Holistic practitioners have used EDS, also known as Meridian Stress Assessment (MSA) or Electro Acupuncture according to Voll (EAV), for over 30 years in Europe. Credit is given to Reinhold Voll, a Genoan medical doctor, for the development of an electronic testing device that detected energy patterns along established meridian paths within the body. His research found that lung cancer patients had abnormal readings at specific acupuncture points relating to the lung. Dr. Voll's findings have since been confirmed through extensive research and testing conducted by such creditable institutes as UCLA and USC.

How it Works
